Born on April 4, 1984 in Stoughton, MA Robbie Leroux grew up in the Bridgewater–Raynham area. He attended Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High school where he was a four-year varsity wrestler. Among his many accomplishments, Leroux was a two-time all state champ and outstanding wrestler, National High School All American, Four Time freestyle State Champion, and two time Greco State Champion. One of his wrestling career highlights would definitely have to be the tremendous improvement he showed between his sophomore and junior year in high school, where he placed 4th at sectionals his sophomore year and became the first New England Champion in school history.
After high school Leroux took two and a half years off to work, then went to college for only 3 weeks. He wrestled 8 matches in 2 days and took 2nd at the Division 3 College New England’s. After deciding college wasn’t for him, Leroux enlisted in the US Navy where he deployed to Iraq June of 2008 and stayed until April of 2009 for Operation Enduring Freedom. Once he returned home Leroux began training.
Mainly fights out of Wai Kru in Allston and Lauzon’s MMA in Bridgewater. On his off days Leroux also trains at Mendes Tang Soo Do in Taunton.
His MMA debut on Sept 12, 2009 proved victorious for Leroux as he beat his opponent (Razimy Mom) in the 2nd round due by way of TKO. After his first 145 match, Leroux has decided to fight at 135 from then on. Nicknamed “Relentless”, Robbie Leroux is currently under sponsorship contract with Prime Athletics. Leroux is a perfect addition to the PAC, with a determined attitude and will to win. We see great things in his MMA future.
