Bio...
Born on March 8, 1991 Brandon Fleming was an athlete from the very beginning. At
the age of eight he began playing football and basketball for his
hometown of Marshfield, MA. By the time he entered eighth grade,
however, he had found a passion for wrestling and joined the high school
team. His athletic ability differed between sports. Fleming started on
the varsity football team for two years, and went to three D1A
Superbowls. His wrestling, however, was not as successful in the
beginning. As a freshman he had a record of 0-13 in dual meets. By his
junior year, however, Fleming went 28-14 and placed second at
sectionals. During the summer before his senior year, determined and
ready for an amazing high school career finish, Fleming went to
Pennsylvania and wrestled for the Massachusetts All Star Team. He also
competed in and won the Iron Man Tournament, a three-day tournament that
tested his Greco-Roman, Freestyle and Folk style wrestling skills.
Fleming’s senior year proved to be a complete 180 from his freshman
year, and he won the Marshfield Holiday Tournament, both the Weymouth
and Cohasset Tournaments, D2 South Sectionals, D2 States, and placed
second at all states and third in New England’s. He finished his senior
year with a record of 50-5 and a total career record of 177-33.
After
high school Fleming chose to enter the work force, but still a part of
his childhood was missing. When a few of his buddies began training at
South Shore Sport Fighting Fleming could not resist the opportunity to
utilize his wrestling skills and jump into a new sport with the same
passion he had for wrestling.
While
he enjoys training, and has been doing so since September 2009, Fleming
was also interested in fulfilling his civic duty and has since enlisted
in the United States National Guard. He will attend basic training in
February 2011, and Prime Athletics is proud of his dedication to this
country. We are honored to have Brandon Fleming as a member of the PAC.
